Sharjah Cooperative Organizes Training Course on Marketing

Sharjah Cooperative Society and PROJACS for Training and Development organized a training course on marketing that extended for 3 days at the Hilton Sharjah Hotel, and was geared towards the marketing staff, the shareholders section, department managers and section heads at Sharjah Cooperative.

The lectures presented a detailed analysis of marketing at the Cooperative, modern approaches being applied, the importance of technological advancement and its influence on modern marketing, and how to prepare opinion polls to measure customer satisfaction. The lectures explained the importance of strong ties between customer care and marketing procedure, and how to enlist customer service centers in marketing.

The lectures covered how the Cooperative could safeguard its place among other retail outlets in a highly competitive market, and build long-lasting ties with shoppers based on mutual trust. The lectures took up several pertinent issues such as creating product value and services and pricing by giving examples for marketing specific products.

Majid Al Jeneid, General Manager, said the Cooperative was keen to run training courses for its staff, in order to develop their job abilities and involve them in development, as an embodiment of the Cooperative’s vision that aims to make its cadres able to keep pace with the developments in the international arena and possess the tenets for responsible work towards all society.
