Khorfakkan Branch Hosts Al Khalil bin Ahmed Secondary School Students

Sharjah Cooperative Society hosted at its Khorfakkan branch Al Khalil bin Ahmed Secondary School students to give them a chance to get oriented with the basics of procurement and with the course of work in general at the Cooperative.
Qabous Al Hamadi, Khorfakkan branch manager, took the students on a tour of the sections, and briefed them on the course of work at the branch. Branch Supervisor Nuha Al Naqbi gave a presentation on the procurement procedure and how to choose products.
The students visited the butchery section and learnt about storing meat, chicken and dairy, in addition to sterilization, cutting and packaging. Sthe students were then shown all food and non-food sections, the bakery, fruit and vegetables sections and were given a detailed description of these sections.
At the end of the visit the school’s supervisor presented a ceremonial shield to Sharjah Cooperative and thanked the Cooperative’s management for the warm reception and its continual cooperation with the ministry of education in the eastern province.
